Intermediate Spanish - Level 2 and Level 3
Intermediate Level 2
If you know the Present Tense and no more, you are a Level 2 Intermediate.
You will want to get the Level 2 Kit. It will teach you the core of the Spanish language. You will learn simple past tense (Preterite), all the rules for word order and how to use the Direct and Indirect Object pronouns. That sounds like a lot!
The Preterite is the most important tense (40% of the usage) and the pronouns are the moving parts of the language.
Level 2 will hook you up with the Spanish language. After Level 2, Spanish will be easy because you will know How it is put together.
After Level 2 you will be at the high functional level and be able to communicate in present, past, and future time. You will begin to separate words and hear the different parts of speech and actually understand complete sentences.
Other tools are the Key Cards and Preterite and Pronouns Game Cards. Finally the Verb Cards 2, which contain the second 100 Spanish verbs conjugated in all there tenses.
Intermediate Level 3
If you have studied several tenses but are rusty and can´t speak very well, you are a Level 3 Intermediate.
You will want to get the
Level 3 Kit. It will teach you the seven indicative tenses. Once you know seven tenses you can begin to express your thoughts and personality in Spanish. You can read just about everything with the help of a dictionary. You now have a sense of owning the Spanish language.
After Level 3 you will officially enter the conversational level. You will be able to sit across the table from someone and have a conversation. You still make a lot of mistakes but you can either self-correct or understand why when you are corrected. Now practice becomes a delightful and rewarding experience.
