Sunny and spacious: newly-remodeled rooms and studio apartments less than ten minutes from school and historic downtown!

In a typical Mexican neighborhood full of shops, you'll use your Espanol every day as you walk through San Miguel's biggest market on your way to the Warren Hardy school. A small park and lovely chapel next door complete the Mexican ambiance.

We offer two 'penthouse' (top floor) apartments, both with large terraces featuring magnificent views of the colonial churches of San Miguel. Both have double beds, small kitchens with fridge and sink, shower and toilet, lots of closet space.

'Studio VG4' also has a sitting area with couch, table, desk and rocker as well as TV with all local cable channels, stereo and DVD player.

"Casa Kahlo" is a four-bedroom home for serious language students on a quiet but secure street. Utilities, maid service and wifi are included. Buses, taxis and parking, both off-street and on-street, are all plentiful.

The Casa's 'Suite' and 'Master' rooms share a large full kitchen and living room (fully furnished) downstairs and bathroom nearby. Laundry, wifi, cable TV and DVD provided.

In addition, the 'Suite' features a double bed, study desk, small parlor and balcony with view of Centro.

The 'Master' is a large room with large private terrace, king bed, study desk and enormous closet.

Minimum stay is one month with discounts offered for longer stays.

Two bedroom casita and One bedroom casita

With fabulous views of el centro and the mountains, these two separate casitas are on one property. Eash is colorful, comfortable and unique and private. Both are in traditional, Mexican rustic style and are constructed on 3 levels to maximize living space and the grand views.

The houses has a king sized bed, equipped kitchen, all linens, high speed wireless internet, a boveda ceiling, use of cell phone (you add the minutes) and tv with local channels. Housekeeping is arranged between the guests and a delightful woman who lives across the street. The Property Manager, Miguel, is there to greet and orient guests and introduce you to the housekeeper to arrange your individual needs. Miguel is available for any emergent needs.

The casitas are situated on a quiet, narrow calle privada (like a "dead end street"-no buses, few local parked cars.) The casitas are about 2 blocks from the Warren Hardy School and down the block to the San Juan de Dios market. The walk to the jardin principal is 20 minutes from the casita.

Living in a friendly Mexican neighborhood is a great way to immerse yourself in the language and culture. Practice your Spanish!
